Security feature bypass in Adobe Acrobat and Reader through 2020.006.20042 allows attackers to bypass security features via a crafted PDF. Adobe identifies the affected component and operation only as a security bypass; the underlying code locus and flawed handling of untrusted input remain undisclosed. Exploitation requires a victim to open or otherwise process attacker-controlled PDF content locally, and the documented consequence is circumvention of security restrictions rather than a stated ability to execute code or alter files.
