Arbitrary code execution via TIF out-of-bounds write
Published Jun 26, 2020 · Updated May 5, 2025
Out-of-bounds write in Adobe Bridge 10.0.1 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute code through a crafted TIF file. Its TIF parser fails to validate user-supplied data before writing past the end of an allocated buffer. Exploitation requires a target to visit a malicious page or open a malicious file, and resulting code runs in the current process and user context.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
