Cleartext transmission in Rubetek SmartHome 2020 devices allows remote attackers to sniff and spoof 433 MHz beacon requests. Controllers and beacons exchange requests over an unencrypted 433 MHz radio channel, exposing request contents and accepting forged traffic without cryptographic protection. Exploitation requires radio reach of the devices; the published record establishes no consequences beyond interception and request spoofing.
