Cross-site scripting in Micro Focus Enterprise Server before 5.0 Patch Update 8 allows remote authenticated users to trigger administrative actions. The vendor identifies multiple MFDS administration pages but does not disclose the affected pages, input fields, or missing output-encoding operation. Exploitation requires malicious stored data to be viewed by an administrator or an administrator to follow a crafted link; resulting script execution can initiate administrative actions.
