CVE-2020-9517Network attack vector

UI redress via unrestricted frame rendering

Published Mar 9, 2020 · Updated Aug 4, 2024

UI redress in Micro Focus Service Manager Release Control 9.50 and 9.60 allows remote authenticated users to trigger unintended actions. Release Control pages inadequately restrict rendering inside attacker-controlled frames; the vendor does not identify the affected route or missing control. Exploitation requires a logged-in victim to interact with a deceptive overlay, enabling actions with that victim's application privileges.
