CVE-2020-9483Network attack vector

Data disclosure via unbound GraphQL query IDs

Published Jun 30, 2020 · Updated Aug 4, 2024

SQL injection in Apache SkyWalking 6.0.0 through 6.6.0 and 7.0.0 allows remote attackers to read unexpected data via GraphQL metadata queries. The shared JDBC H2MetricsQueryDAO inserts caller-controlled IDs into three SQL IN clauses instead of binding them as prepared-statement parameters. Exploitation requires an exposed OAP GraphQL service backed by H2, MySQL, or TiDB, and disclosure is limited to data reachable through the affected queries.
