Published Feb 28, 2020 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Stored XSS in Webnus Modern Events Calendar Lite 5.1.6 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to inject scripts via AJAX actions. The mec_save_notifications and import_settings handlers store attacker-controlled JavaScript, HTML, or CSS without neutralizing it. Subscriber-level access is sufficient; payloads execute in affected dashboard or front-end views and can enable rogue administrator creation.
