Cross-site scripting in GwtUpload 1.0.3 allows remote attackers to execute script in users' browsers via a malicious upload filename. The file-upload handler accepts attacker-controlled filenames containing JavaScript and renders them without effective output encoding, causing the script to execute in a victim's browser. Exploitation requires a victim to view the uploaded filename; the resulting impact is client-side data theft, page manipulation, or phishing rather than server-side code execution.
