Administrator-triggered script execution via AngularJS template injection
Published Jun 25, 2020 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Client-side template injection in SecureAuth IdP 9.3.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute script in another user's browser. SecureAuth.aspx renders user-controlled username and email values as AngularJS templates, causing embedded expressions to execute during authentication. Exploitation requires a high-privilege account to alter another user's email address and that user to authenticate, enabling credential theft or page actions in the victim's session.
