Stored script execution via unsanitized LAN settings
Published Dec 14, 2022 · Updated Apr 22, 2025
Stored XSS in the LAN dashboard of Arcadyan VRV9506JAC23 routers allows remote authenticated users to inject arbitrary script. The dashboard stores hostName and domain_name values without validating or neutralizing HTML, then renders them as active content. Low-privileged dashboard access is required, and the payload runs when another user opens the affected page, enabling script execution in that user's browser context.
