CVE-2020-9411Network attack vector

Unauthorized file read and write via node-response bypass

Published Jun 9, 2020 · Updated Sep 16, 2024

Authentication bypass in TIBCO Managed File Transfer Platform Server 7.1.0 and earlier and 8.0.0 allows remote attackers to transfer files. The file-transfer component accepts unauthorized network transfers when Require Node Resp is set to No, failing to require a configured node response. With this setting, every file accessible to the component is exposed to remote read or write, including damage that can interrupt the host.
