Web interface takeover via Fusion Charts HTML injection
Published May 20, 2020 · Updated Sep 16, 2024
HTML injection in TIBCO JasperReports report generators allows remote authenticated users to control report-output web interfaces. Fusion Charts reports place attacker-controlled data-source content into generated HTML without neutralizing executable markup. A victim must view the malicious report; injected content then runs with that user's interface privileges, enabling data access and modification.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
- Affected versionversion=7.2.0
- Affected versionversion=7.5.0
