Unauthenticated code execution via queryBCP eval
Published Feb 25, 2020 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Code injection in IBL Online Weather before 4.3.5a allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary commands through the Auxiliary Service. The queryBCP method passes an unvalidated request parameter directly to an eval instruction, causing attacker-controlled input to be interpreted as code. No authentication or user interaction is required; network access to the Auxiliary Service is enough to run commands in the service's execution context.
