Database read and modification via reverse-proxy SQL injection
Published Feb 25, 2020 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
SQL injection in ISPConfig before 3.1.15p3 allows remote attackers to read or alter database data through the reverse-proxy panel feature. The vendor identifies the reverse_proxy_panel_allowed=sites path but has not disclosed the vulnerable request parameter or unsafe SQL construction. Exposure requires an administrator to manually enable this undocumented, non-default setting in security_settings.ini; installations with none, all, or no value are unaffected.
