Unauthenticated memory disclosure via unequal-length comparison

Out-of-bounds read in Pure-FTPd 1.0.49 allows remote attackers to read process memory through a crafted FTP authentication request. In utils.c, pure_strcmp passes the first string's length plus its terminator to pure_memcmp without confirming that the second string is equally long, so the comparison reads beyond the second buffer. Network access without privileges or user interaction is sufficient when a database or Unix authentication backend reaches this comparison; the bounded outcomes are sensitive process-memory disclosure or a child-process crash.
