Cross-site scripting in SAS Visual Analytics 8.5 allows remote authenticated users to execute JavaScript via a directly accessed graph template. Graph Builder stores attacker-supplied JavaScript inside the template XML, and direct retrieval causes the browser to execute it rather than treat it as inert data. Exploitation requires authenticated template creation and user interaction outside the Visual Analytics interface; execution occurs in the user's browser context.
