Authenticated code execution via candidate ID SQL injection
Published Feb 22, 2020 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
SQL injection in fauzantrif eLection 2.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute SQL through the candidate endpoint's id parameter. The admin/ajax/op_kandidat.php handler treats crafted POST id values containing boolean, time-delay, and UNION clauses as database syntax. Administrator portal access is required; exploitation reads or changes database data and, when the web directory is writable, uploads a web shell for code execution.
