Credential exposure in Aquaforest TIFF Server 4.0 allows remote attackers to capture the service account's Net-NTLMv2 hash via UNC paths. The unauthenticated tiffserverclassic.aspx at_path and tiffpilot.exe FN parameters accept an attacker-controlled UNC path and make the server initiate SMB authentication to that location. Exploitation requires network access to an exposed instance and outbound SMB reachability; it discloses a credential challenge-response hash without altering data or interrupting service.
