Root code execution via unprotected Mini-PCIe DMA

Improper PCIe access control in Sonos One speakers allows physically proximate attackers to execute code as root through a DMA device. The Mini-PCI Express Wi-Fi slot accepts a spoofed PCI device and exposes system memory to unauthenticated DMA reads and writes. Physical access to open the speaker and attach specialized PCILeech-compatible hardware is required; the demonstrated memory patch starts a root shell without changing the filesystem.
