Authentication bypass in D-Link DSL-2640B B2 EU_4.01B allows remote attackers to restore factory settings through the web interface. The cfm web process exposes restoreinfo.cgi without authentication, and requesting it restores the default configuration and credentials. Exploitation requires LAN or Wi-Fi access, or browser pivoting from a malicious site; the reset interrupts connectivity and enables administrative login with default credentials.
