Database record disclosure via ORDER BY injection
Published Feb 18, 2020 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
SQL injection in SoPlanning 1.45 allows remote attackers to read database records through the by parameter of projets.php. The endpoint accepts the by value as SQL syntax in its ORDER BY clause rather than constraining it to an allowed sort direction. No authenticated account or user interaction is required, and demonstrated exploitation extracts user records, including password hashes, without altering stored data.
