Database disclosure via injectable username parameter
Published Feb 18, 2020 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
SQL injection in phpMyChat-Plus 1.98 allows remote attackers to read user records through the deluser.php Delete User endpoint. The handler incorporates the pmc_username POST value into a MySQL query without neutralizing SQL syntax, enabling boolean-, error-, and time-based payloads. No authenticated session or user interaction is required; a crafted request can dump the registered-user table and its stored password hashes.
