Heap-based buffer overflow in affected Huawei EMUI and Magic UI releases allows remote attackers to overwrite memory via an update file. The update-file processing path incorrectly handles file contents and writes beyond the allocated heap buffer; Huawei has not published a component or function name. Network access and no authentication or user interaction are required, and the published impact is limited to memory corruption with integrity and availability loss.
