Invalid pointer access in Huawei OceanStor 5310 V5 V500R007C60SPC100 allows remote attackers to reboot the device via a malformed message. The message-processing software insufficiently validates an unspecified parameter and dereferences an invalid pointer. Network access sufficient to send the specific message is the only published gate, and successful exploitation interrupts storage service through a reboot.
