Adjacent-network service disruption via malformed UPnP message
Published Dec 27, 2024 · Updated Dec 27, 2024
Buffer error in HUAWEI 4G Router B612 firmware allows remote attackers on the adjacent network to interrupt a service via UPnP. UPnP message processing insufficiently validates an unspecified value in a specially crafted message, causing abnormal service operation. Access to the router's network is required, and the published impact is limited to low-availability service disruption rather than data disclosure or modification.
