Student mode bypass via insufficient identity validation
Published May 15, 2020 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Improper authentication in Huawei P20 before 10.0.0.156(C00E156R1P4) allows physically proximate attackers to bypass Student mode limits. Huawei has not published the affected component or the identity-validation operation that accepts the physical user's action without sufficient verification. Physical access to the handset is required, and the documented consequence is limited to bypassing Student mode restrictions.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
