Buffer overflow in Huawei SmartAX OLT firmware allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary code on affected devices. Huawei has not disclosed the affected interface, function, input, or faulty buffer-copy operation beyond identifying a buffer overflow. Exploitation requires low privileges from an adjacent network and a device operating as an OLT, and successful exploitation yields code execution.
