Memory corruption in Valve Dota 2 through 2020-02-17 allows remote attackers to execute code or crash the client via a crafted map. The meshsystem.dll BinaryProperties_GetValue path uses attacker-controlled map values in pointer arithmetic and dereferences the resulting invalid address. The victim must join an attacker-controlled server or launch a malicious custom game, after which the downloaded map is processed and the client can crash or lose control of execution.
