CVE-2020-8974Network attack vector

Device outage via unrestricted firmware upload

Published Oct 17, 2022 · Updated May 13, 2025

Unrestricted firmware upload in Zigor ZGR TPS 200 NG firmware 2.00 on hardware 1.01 allows remote attackers to make the device unusable. The web-based firmware update process accepts and installs attacker-modified firmware without restricting the uploaded image. The HTTP management interface must be network-reachable; no account or user interaction is required, and exploitation can corrupt firmware and interrupt device operation.
