Cross-site scripting via clobbered DOM sibling references

Cross-site scripting in Google Dart SDK stable 2.7.1 and earlier and dev 2.8.0-dev.16.0 allows remote attackers to inject script. The dart:html NodeValidator used by Element.html and related HTML-insertion APIs trusts clobberable previousNode or previousSibling DOM references, letting crafted input bypass sanitization. Applications built with an affected SDK are exposed when attacker-controlled HTML reaches those APIs and a user renders the resulting content, enabling script execution in the application origin.
