CVE-2020-8902Network attack vector

Internal content disclosure via unrestricted page rendering

Published Feb 23, 2021 · Updated Aug 4, 2024

SSRF in Google Rendertron before 3.0.0 allows remote authenticated users to read internal web content through crafted pages. The headless Chrome renderer processes an attacker-supplied page that directs the browser to internal URLs and returns the result as a screenshot. The attacker needs access to the rendering service, and disclosure is limited to content reachable from that browser process.
