Command injection in Moxa MGate 5105-MB-EIP firmware 4.1 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute commands as root. MainPing.asp passes the user-controlled DestIP parameter to a system call without properly validating the string. A valid web-console session is required; successful exploitation grants root-level command execution on the gateway.
