Payment-address deanonymization via peer-response timing

Timing side channel in Electric Coin Company Zcashd before 2.1.1-1 allows remote attackers to link a payment address to an IP address. Block processing delays subsequent peer responses by recipient-dependent amounts while the wallet examines transactions, exposing whether the suspected wallet received funds. Exploitation requires active participation in the peer-to-peer network and timing a suspected node over a network connection; the result is recipient deanonymization, not transaction modification.
