Authorization bypass via unsafe PHP file inclusion
Published Feb 13, 2020 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Local file inclusion in SuiteCRM 7.11.11 and earlier allows remote attackers to bypass authorization through crafted web requests. The add_to_prospect_list function passes the parent_module and parent_type request parameters to PHP include() without proper validation, permitting traversal to arbitrary PHP files under the webroot. No authentication is required; included administrative actions that lack their own access-control checks execute with application privileges.
