Arbitrary file read in OpenSMTPD before 6.6.4 allows local users to access files via crafted offline mail submissions. makemap.c resolves a helper through an untrusted search path, while smtpd.c performs race-prone checks and operations on offline queue files. Exploitation requires low-privileged local access and weak hard-link protections; the observed consequence is disclosure of the first line of arbitrary files.
