Stored XSS via unsanitized file URL property
Published Mar 2, 2020 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Stored XSS in Alfresco Enterprise before 5.2.7 and Community before 6.2.0 allows remote authenticated users to run script in a viewer's browser. The application stores a crafted URL value as a file property and later renders it without neutralizing executable markup. An authenticated account must set the property and another user must view the affected file; the script then runs in that user's Alfresco origin.
