CVE-2020-8587

Sensitive response cache disclosure

Published Feb 8, 2021 · Updated Aug 4, 2024

Information disclosure in NetApp ONTAP System Manager 9.x before 9.3P20 and 9.4 before 9.4P3 allows attackers to access sensitive cached HTTP responses. HTTP clients cache responses from the management interface in a way that leaves sensitive content available to an attacker who can access the system running the client. The exposure requires access to that client system; the record does not describe alteration of data or service interruption.
