Reflected XSS via unsanitized color parameter
Published Jan 31, 2020 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Reflected XSS in IceWarp Webmail Server 11.4.4.1 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute script via a crafted webmail URL. The /webmail/ sign-in page reflects the GET color value into page output without neutralizing a tag-breaking SVG payload. No authentication is required to create the URL, but a user or administrator must open it; script then runs in that user's IceWarp origin and can access session data or alter page content.
