Authenticated code execution via unrestricted PHP upload
Published Mar 23, 2020 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Unrestricted PHP upload in Artica Pandora FMS 7.42 and earlier allows remote authenticated users with Web Admin access to execute code. The File Repository accepts a .php upload and places it in the web-accessible attachment/file_repo directory, where a direct request invokes PHP instead of the get_file.php content-serving path. Web Admin access is required to plant the file; subsequent requests execute attacker-supplied code in the application context.
