User deletion via forged office-admin request
Published Jan 31, 2020 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Cross-site request forgery in School Management Software PHP/mySQL through 2019-03-14 allows remote attackers to delete an arbitrary user. The office_admin endpoint accepts attacker-supplied pid, action=deleteadmin, and lid query parameters without verifying that the logged-in user intended the request. Exploitation requires a logged-in office administrator to submit or visit attacker-controlled content, and the demonstrated consequence is deletion of the selected user account.
