Improper access control in ABB System 800xA RNRP before 6.1.1 allows local users to disrupt node redundancy via crafted IPC data. Weak access controls on objects that exchange data between Windows processes let a specially crafted local application inject garbage or crafted values. An authenticated account with local or remote logon and permission to execute that application is required; affected nodes can lose communications or act on false runtime data.
