Privilege escalation via weak folder access controls

Incorrect folder permissions in four ABB System 800xA components allow local users with low privileges to alter system and application files. Weak ACLs on folders used by OPC Server for AC 800M 6.0 and earlier, and the other three components 6.1 and earlier, permit unauthorized reads, changes, additions, and deletions. Exploitation requires an authenticated local or remote-desktop login and can disrupt data updates or alter logs and function settings after a component restart that the flaw cannot trigger.
