Authenticated remote code execution via migration tool flaw

Published Mar 18, 2020 · Updated Oct 21, 2025

Remote code execution in the migration tool of Trend Micro Apex One 2019 and OfficeScan XG allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary code. Trend Micro identifies the migration tool component but has not published the flawed operation or the input that reaches it. A valid product account and network access to the server are required; successful exploitation runs attacker-controlled code on the affected installation.
