Privilege escalation in Lenovo Vantage before 10.2003.10.0 allows local users to execute code with elevated privileges. LenovoBatteryGaugePackage in Lenovo System Interface Foundation uses an unquoted search-path element when launching an executable, causing Windows to select attacker-controlled code before the intended binary. Exploitation requires an existing local account and user interaction, and successful execution gains the package's elevated privileges.
