Uncontrolled resource consumption in Nextcloud Server before 20.0.0 allows remote attackers to interrupt service via password-reset requests. Nextcloud identifies the locus only as an incorrect check in the password-reset path and has not published the checked condition or exhausted resource. The request is remotely reachable without authentication, and successful exploitation interrupts service without reported data disclosure or modification.
