Link following in Bitdefender Total Security 2020 before 24.9 allows local users to interrupt service through arbitrary file deletion. The deletion service follows attacker-created junctions without validating the resolved target, causing files outside the controlled path to be removed. Exploitation requires low-privileged code execution on the Windows host, and the resulting deletions can make the system unavailable.
