Code injection in Bitdefender Antivirus for Mac before 8.0.0 allows local users to execute third-party code through DYLD library injection. The AntivirusforMac binary honors an attacker-controlled DYLD environment variable and loads an injected library into its process. Exploitation requires local access without user interaction and can affect confidentiality, integrity, and availability within the host context.
