Published Jan 27, 2020 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Cross-site scripting in TYPO3 CMS 6.2.0 through 6.2.38 ELTS and 7.0.0 through 7.1.0 allows remote attackers to execute script in victim browsers. The bundled websvg svg.swf Flash file treats crafted uniqueId query content as ActionScript syntax instead of neutralizing it. Exploitation requires a victim to open the crafted URL in a browser with the Flash plugin, enabling script execution in the site origin.
