Authenticated command execution via configuration fields
Published Nov 8, 2024 · Updated Nov 4, 2025
OS command injection in Circontrol Raption Server 5.6.2 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute system commands. The pwrstudio configuration menu passes ntpserver0, ntpserver1, and pingip values to operating-system commands without neutralizing command syntax. Access to the authenticated configuration interface is required, and successful injection grants command execution on the embedded charger server.
