CVE-2020-7999Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Download API key disclosure via embedded constants

Published Jan 27, 2020 · Updated Aug 4, 2024

Hard-coded credentials in Intellian Aptus 1.0.2 for Android allow attackers to recover two download API keys from the application package. The application embeds fixed DOWNLOAD_API_KEY and FILE_DOWNLOAD_API_KEY values in distributable client code instead of obtaining per-installation secrets. Access to the Android package is sufficient to extract the keys; published records do not identify their backend permissions or downstream data exposure.
